Brown-Forman Corp Beats Estimates, Raises Outlook

Brown-Forman Corp, parent to Jack Daniels and other spirits, released second quarter results on Thursday that topped analysts estimates. Strong international sales helped profit come in at $1.05 per share while analysts were expecting $1.00. The company also raised its guidance for the remainder of the year, reflecting increasing confidence in the company over the next two quarters.
