Wild Turkey For The Great Gatsby

F. Scott Fitzgerald's Grave

F. Scott Fitzgerald's Grave

Here’s something I wasn’t aware of: F. Scott Fitzgerald is buried in Rockville Maryland. This fact came to my attention when trolling about the internets, as I am wont to do. The Rockville Patch has a nice piece on the burial site, along with a great photo of the writer’s tombstone, complete with two small offerings of Wild Turkey Bourbon on the grave site.

According to the piece, the epitaph on his headstone is from the Great Gatsby:

So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
