A new distraction entered my life when I bought a mandolin this last Spring. I took a few lessons, went to bluegrass camp, and have started singing and picking my way around bluegrass.

Vancouver has always been synonymous with "rain", here on the wet west coast. With the current trends in global warming, this is changing. Managing our rainwater and our municipal water are crucial as changes occur.

It's a jungle out there, and it all starts at home with our furry beasts. They keep us on all fours, purring and laughing...

Whether we're at home, or on the road, we're planning on Fridays being "magical", mid-week picnics to enjoy our spectacular outdoor City, and wily weekend adventures to feed our souls.

CBC was hosting a pancake breakfast for Bike to Work day. I heard that when I woke up, and dashed out asap.
